Otosoft - he researchers from the University of Texas has created a technology that enables a camera phone to the target object even obstructed by walls . Dr. . Kenneth O who led the study stated that with this technology , the mobile phone camera can also take pictures of objects that exist behind the fabric , wood , plastic , and paper .
This camera works with the help of a chip that works at the network terahertz ( THz ) which create objects that blocked a wall or other object can be caught . This network is one of a long series of waves that exist in between microwaves and infrared rays .
This chip will be used bersaman natinya with CMOS chips because the price is affordable and widely used in many everyday products , such as computers , smart phones , high- definition TVs and game consoles . So that costs in spend to get this cips be quite cheap .
However , for reasons of privacy of the user and not to be abused , Dr . Kenneth O and the team focus on developing devices for use with a distance range of less than four inches . Maybe that could be used for long-distance shooting invisibility , fear is used for negative things .
